Lest Us Never Forget

Section III:   To exchange information between members of the Association on the movements of drug violators and on new and innovative techniques used by either criminals or investigators.
Section IV: To recommend legislation favorable to effective drug enforcement and to oppose detrimental legislation.
Section V:  To keep the membership advised of new drug abuse trends, current changes in the law, and judicial decisions.

The definition of “person(s)” is the surviving members of the immediate family of any sworn criminal justice participant resulting in death, whether a CDIA active member or not. The Executive Board in regular or a “special session” (including electronic media means), called by the President, shall by majority vote determine the eligibility and the denomination of any “financial assistance” rendered to that “person(s)” by CDIA.

Section IX:  To protect and preserve the Association as an institution and to perform its legal and contractual obligations.
